The case

At Tukuypaj’s rehabilitation center, therapists dedicate themselves daily to the care and progress of individuals with disabilities. However, a significant portion of their time is consumed by administrative tasks, especially note-taking during and after therapy sessions. Currently, therapists manually record session details on paper, which not only takes up valuable time but also complicates the management and retrieval of critical data.

To address this, Recursive Pioneers wants to develop a computer vision product designed to automate the note-taking process for therapists.

By using computer vision, this solution should observe and record key moments and activities during therapy sessions, generating detailed, accurate notes without requiring the therapist to divert attention from their patients.

This solution aims to free therapists from time-consuming paperwork, allowing them to focus more on their patients and improving the overall quality of care. Additionally, the project tackles a broader challenge: managing therapy data in a more efficient and organized manner. With simplified, automated data management, therapists can access records easily and make better-informed decisions regarding their patients' progress.

Simplicity is at the heart of this project. The technology must seamlessly integrate into the daily workflow of therapists, offering a straightforward, intuitive experience without adding complexity. The success of this initiative depends not only on the precision of the technology but on ensuring that it is effortless for therapists to use.
